The Ulster County Transportation Council hired Alta for a Safe Routes to School (SRTS) plan, during which I conducted a GIS analysis that used travel-shed weightings to estimate the number of students within a typical walking/biking distance of their schools. I produced one map for each of the four affected regions in Ulster County, shown below.
